ATI Cavalry Road Agent Side-by-Side Shotgun – 12ga | 18.5″ Barrel | Engraved Receiver

American Tactical decided it was time to introduce a side by side coach gun to the Cavalry line up of shotguns. The Road Agent is designed with a 2017 twist for the classic external hammer, side by side shotgun. The Road Agent features ATI’s patent pending decocker system, an industry first for an external hammer shotgun.

The Road Agent autococks both hammers when you break the barrel to load it. The patent-pending decocker lever automatically sets to the “Safe” position. Disengage the safety and you’re ready to shoot. You can move the decocker lever to the decock position and both hammers will drop without striking the firing pins. Then, simply break the barrel to re-cock the hammers. It has double triggers to match its classic external hammer design, so you can shoot both barrels at once.

The Road Agent has an 18.5″ carbon steel barrel with black aluminum finish, aluminum receiver with intricate scroll engraving, and a hand-finished Turkish Walnut stock and forearm.

After several years of successful sales of our over/under shotguns, American Tactical decided it was time to introduce a side by side coach gun to our line up.  But we didn’t design just any old coach gun!

The Road Agent is designed with a 2017 twist for the classic external hammers side by side.  The Road Agent features our Patent Pending decocker system, an industry first for an external hammer shotgun.

The Road Agent autococks both hammers when you break the barrel to load it.  The Patent Pending decocker lever automatically sets the gun to the “Safe” position.  Disengage the safety and you’re ready to shoot.  But, should you need not to fire, don’t put your thumb on the hammer, pull the trigger and hope nothing slips!  Simply move the decocker lever to the decock position and both hammers will drop without striking the firing pins.  Simply break the barrel to re-cock the hammers.

Recommended Ammunition:

·         Use only commercial grade ammunition in its original packaging that corresponds with the caliber of the gun.  The correct caliber is imprinted on the gun.

·         2 ¾” or 3” shell.

·         Never use reloaded, “refurbished”, hand-loaded or non standard ammunition of a different caliber.

·         Never use dirty, wet, corroded, bent, damaged or oiled ammunition.
